Setup: The game takes place about a year after an Apokoliptian invasion. Unless there's a plot reason for it at the time (ie, powers fading on the Bizarro world) Superman's abilities are more or less constant. While in Infamous, the unlocking of new powers develops how you play the game, instead, in this game the locale and situation will determine how you play. For example, as Clark Kent in Belle Meade, the gameplay will focus on evasion and subtlety, avoiding detection of use of his superpowers, while Superman battling a lizard invasion of Metropolis will feature a fully empowered Man of Steel. The goals and objectives, as well as the play style will vary by location. Locales will include Metropolis, earth's moon, below the surface of the earth, Belle Meade Prison, P.R.O.J.E.C.T., the Kent Farm, Bizarro World, and others. The game would feature a series of episodic adventures tied together by the larger plot of "The end of Superman", as he undergoes a series of trials a-la Hercules. Along the way he'll match wits the Ultra Sphinx, evade the parasite, and battle Solaris.įlight, Speed, Heat Vision (as a weapon and as a context sensitive utility), Cold breath (as a weapon and as a context sensitive utility)
Optional subplots would include side missions for Leo Quintum and Jimmy Olsen as well as the ability to expand the zoo in the fortress of solitude and visit the shrunken city of Kandor.Ī gradually weakening Superman prepares for the end, and prepares earth for a future without him. The beginning of the game would feature a fully powered Superman as he attempts a rescue on the sun's surface and the end of the game would feature a weakened Superman's final battle with Solaris and Lex Luther. Superman would have extensive flying and fighting sequences in various locales: Metropolis, the moon, the Bizarro world, the Fortress of Solitude, etc. Title : Superman (no further description needed)
